Mt amost 3 year old daughter and I watched a Nova episode about black holes because she has become interested in them. Throughout the show , she kept asking “are they going to stick their finger in it?”

She also kept asking "what's inside?" I think I'm better equipped to answer algebra questions than astrophysics.

I think that at least on a subconscious level, every living thing, upon encountering an object, asks “can I eat it, can I mate with it, will it hurt me, and can I stick my finger in it?”

This guy does a pretty good job. I once had the task of teaching a physics course to his granddaughter. Very cool guy.

Not yet. It is pretty expensive, low volume and not particularly useful or tasteful.
